Yazıcı family`s specialization of construction is based on a past of five generations nearly 150 years. Tradition of building which was started in the period of the Ottomans was stopped temporarily by Ibrahim Effendi who was the first son of the family of second generation but it has come to this days with successful works for many years. That period Ibrahim Effendi began to work as a clerk in the Yıldız Palace instead of being busy with construction works. During this time that he had been working in the Palace he got a letter from his mother and when he read the letter he understood that he could not be unconcerned about construction work and he made his superiors read it in the Palace.
